Community Nurses Announce Book Sale

Plans are underway for the Community Nurses’ Eleventh Annual Used Book Sale. The book sale will be held at the St. Boniface School cafeteria in Kersey.

The community is requested to donate their good used books to this popular event, which usually features over 10,000 great books. Collection dates are set for the dates below.
Saturday, June 11, 9 a.m. – noon
Sunday, June 12, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Monday, June 13, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Tuesday, June 14, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Wednesday, June 15, 9 a.m. — 7 p.m.

Early drop offs are greatly appreciated, as it gives the volunteers sufficient time to organize the books for sale.
The Used Book Sale will take place:
Thursday, June 16, 2—8 p.m.
Friday, June 17, 9 a.m. — 5 p.m.
Saturday, June 18, 9 a.m. — 1 p.m. Fill a bag; make a donation.
Sunday, June 19, 12—3 p.m. Last chance; any donation appreciated.

Volunteers are needed to help collect, sort, and organize the books for the sale. Anyone interested in helping should contact the Community Nurses at 781-4722.

Acceptable items are hardback and paperback books, children’s books, textbooks, puzzles, games, music CD’s, cassettes and records, audio books on tape or CD, art prints and posters, and usable computer software. Please do not bring encyclopedias, books that are damaged, books stored where animals may have gotten into them, coverless or spineless books, damp or mildewed books, weekly/monthly magazines, 8-track tapes and home recorded videos.
