Physical Therapy Services Move

to St. Marys Community Medical Building

The Outpatient Rehabilitation Center at Penn Highlands Elk is moving its physical therapy suite from Skyline Drive in Kersey to the St. Marys Community Medical Building on the Million Dollar Highway. The therapy suite will be located on the first floor of the building, which is conveniently located near the St. Marys Walmart store.

The space has been renovated and retro-fit for the exercise equipment, and the facility is new and modern. The therapists are highly-trained and experienced and create an individualized treatment plan for each patient. Conditions range from musculoskeletal to neurological and include diagnoses like concussions, stroke, balance disorders, joint pain or surgery.

“We understand it may not always be convenient to come to our facility on the hospital campus,” said Mark Hoffman, Director of Rehabilitation Services at Penn Highlands Elk. “That’s why we provide satellite sites in Fox Township, Kane, Johnsonburg, Ridgway and Emporium.”

Appointments may be made at any of these facilities by calling the main phone number at (814) 788-8490.

“When you support our Outpatient Rehab Centers, you support your local hospital, in turn,” explained Mark Hoffman, Director of Rehabilitation Services at Penn Highlands Elk. “We are local people caring for our neighbors and our own families.”
