Welcome Imelda Mahmutaj, MD, MA

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes Imelda Mahmutaj, MD, MA, to its medical staff.

Dr. Mahmutaj joins the teams at Penn Highlands Connellsville, located at 401 East Murphy Avenue, in Connellsville; and Penn Highlands Mon Valley, located at 1163 Country Club Road, in Monongahela.

She offers comprehensive behavioral health care for adults in the hospital. Dr. Mahmutaj evaluates, diagnosis and treats patients at Penn Highlands behavioral health inpatient adult units.

Dr. Mahmutaj is a graduate of Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, in Dayton, OH, and received her Master of Arts in Bioethics from Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, OH. She completed her residency in psychiatry at Penn Highlands Healthcare, in DuBois.

She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association.
