Penn Highlands DuBois welcomes Mayank Gupta, MD, to its medical staff, according to John Sutika, hospital president.

Gupta is board certified in general adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry and addiction medicine.  He will provide care for mental health impairments at the Penn Highlands DuBois Behavioral Health Center, located at 635 Maple Avenue in DuBois.  Additionally, he will serve as the medical director of psychiatry for the Penn Highlands Healthcare system.

“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Gupta to Penn Highlands,” said Sutika.  “He has vast experience in psychiatry and will provide exceptional care to the patients in our region.”

“I am excited about this new role,” said Gupta.

Gupta comes to PHH from the Clarion Psychiatric Center, where he served as the associate medical director and as an attending psychiatrist. 

He earned his medical degree from the University of Bombay in Mumbai, India.  He completed a general psychiatry residency at New York Medical College and Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y.  This was followed by the completion of a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry with Rutgers University and the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, N.J.

Gupta is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
