Penn Highlands Healthcare Seeks Volunteers

There was once a late night talk show that featured a Top 10 List every night. People in Central Pennsylvania do not need a list of 10 reasons why they should consider volunteering at one of the Penn Highlands Healthcare hospitals near them – there’s only one good reason – you make an invaluable difference in the lives of your neighbors.

Penn Highlands Healthcare is recruiting volunteers for Penn Highlands Huntingdon, Penn Highlands State College and Penn Highlands Tyrone. People who are looking to give back to the community who have a few extra hours to spare each week or every month are encouraged to share their time.

Volunteers serve as extensions of the staff. They greet patients, visitors and families near the entrance and provide directional assistance and information.
