Welcome Danielle Burchfield, PA-C
Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes board-certified orthopedic surgeon Justin A. Zenner, DO, and certified physician assistant Danielle Burchfield, PA-C, to its medical staff.
Dr. Zenner and Danielle join the teams at Penn Highlands Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, located at 625 Lincoln Avenue, Suite 107, in Charleroi and 800 Plaza Drive, Suite 400, in Rostraver Township.
Dr. Zenner has more than 15 years of experience and works with Danielle to evaluate and treat all types of conditions, including sports injuries, muscle strains, broken bones, torn ligaments and tendons, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome and more. If surgery is necessary, Dr. Zenner and Danielle provide highly skilled procedures, including minimally invasive surgery.
Common treatments and procedures include arthroscopic surgery including RTC and ACL tears, carpal tunnel treatment, joint injections, non-surgery orthopedic care, occupational therapy, orthopedic physical therapy, orthopedic surgery, physical therapy, rehabilitation services and sports medicine.
Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Dr. Zenner practiced at Trinity Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Steubenville, Ohio; and Advanced Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation in Washington, Penn.
Dr. Zenner is a graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie. He completed his orthopedic residency at Ohio University in Youngstown and Warren, Ohio, and his fellowship in orthopedics sports medicine at West Penn Allegheny Health System in Pittsburgh. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association.
Danielle practiced at Fast Pace Urgent Care in Knoxville, Tenn., prior to joining Penn Highlands.
She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Practice at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio, her Post Baccalaureate Premedical Health Professions Certificate at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, and her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology at West Virginia University in Morgantown, W.Va.
