Welcome, Kara Kimberly, MD

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes Dr. Kara Kimberly, board-certified ear, nose and throat specialist, to its medical staff.

Dr. Kimberly joins the team at Penn Highlands Ear, Nose and Throat, located at 1227 Warm Springs Avenue, Suite 301, in Huntingdon.

Dr. Kimberly provides specialized care to patients who have an injury to the ear, nose or throat or who struggle with balance problems or dizziness, as well as other conditions of the head or neck. Dr. Kimberly is a highly experienced specialist, providing trusted care for patients in the Huntingdon area.

Common treatments and procedures include sinus surgery, procedures for nasal obstruction, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, skin cancer excisions, thyroid/parathyroid surgery, ear tubes and management of hearing loss, tonsil/adenoid removal, Botox for medical treatment, management of allergies, treatment of dizziness and balance disorders.

Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Dr. Kimberly was in private practice in Altoona, PA after completing residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa. She also previously worked as a physician assistant in cardio thoracic and vascular surgery before going back to medical school.

Dr. Kimberly graduated from Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University in Huntington, W. Va. She completed her residency in otolaryngology at the University of South Florida. She is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery and the American Medical Women’s Association.
