Welcome, Michael Freiman, MD

Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes board-certified ENT physician Michael Freiman, MD, to its medical staff.

Dr. Freiman joins the team at Penn Highlands Ear, Nose & Throat, located at 175 Hospital Drive, in Tyrone.

Dr. Freiman provides patients with specialized care for ear, nose and throat conditions, as well as issues related to the head and neck. He is highly experienced and previously served as the Chief of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery at Langley Air Force Base.

Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Dr. Freiman practiced at Mount Nittany Physician Group in State College; Intermountain Medical Group in Wilkes-Barre; Delta Medix ENT, where he was the medical director of The Allergy Center, in Scranton; Valley ENT Sinus and Allergy in Wilkes-Barre; and Langley Air Force Base, where he was the chief of otolaryngology—head and neck surgery in Hampton, Va. Dr. Freiman has also served as a faculty member of the otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency program at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va.

Dr. Freiman graduated from The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in State College. He completed his internship in general surgery and his residency in otolaryngology—head and neck surgery at The University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wis. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy and a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
