Penn Highlands Healthcare offers 849 physicians who provide a wide range of care and treatments at our nine hospitals and locations throughout 26 counties in Pennsylvania that include community medical buildings, outpatient facilities, surgery centers and physician practices. We are pleased to welcome the following physicians who recently joined our medical staff.
Justin Dosch, DO
Clearfield, Connellsville, DuBois, Monongahela
Board-certified emergency medicine physician Justin Dosch, DO, joins the emergency department teams at Penn Highlands Clearfield located at 809 Turnpike Avenue in Clearfield; Penn Highlands Connellsville located at 401 East Murphy Avenue in Connellsville; Penn Highlands DuBois located at 100 Hospital Avenue in DuBois; and Penn Highlands Mon Valley located at 1163 Country Club Road in Monongahela.
Dr. Dosch has two decades of experience and provides highly skilled care to patients suffering severe or life-threatening conditions.
Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Dr. Dosch practiced at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning and Heritage Valley Health System in Beaver.
Dr. Dosch is a graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie. He earned a Certificate of Graduate Study in Biomedical Science at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He is a member of the American College of Emergency Medicine and Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association.
Peter McCann, MD
Connellsville, Monongahela
Board-certified emergency medicine physician Peter McCann, MD, joins the emergency department teams at Penn Highlands Connellsville, located at 401 East Murphy Avenue in Connellsville, and Penn Highlands Mon Valley, located at 1163 Country Club Road in Monongahela.
With nearly a decade of experience, Dr. McCann provides specialized care for a wide range of critical and life-threatening injuries and illnesses.
Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Dr. McCann practiced at US Acute Care Solutions as a traveling emergency medicine physician, Westmoreland Emergency Medicine Specialists in Greensburg, Uniontown Hospital Emergency Department in Uniontown, Stat MedEvac as a flight physician, the City of Pittsburgh and the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. McCann is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Mich. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Chapter of American College of Emergency Physicians, American College of Emergency Physicians and American Medical Association.
Anne Lihau-N’kanza, MD

Board-certified trauma surgeon Anne Lihau-N’kanza, MD, joins the team at Penn Highlands Trauma Services, located at 145 Hospital Avenue, Suite 215, in DuBois.
With 30 years of experience, Dr. Lihau-N’kanza provides specialized care to patients suffering from severe and traumatic injuries. She is highly experienced, having completed multiple residencies and fellowships to provide you with expert care when you need it most.

Dr. Lihau-N’kanza is a graduate of Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Mass. She completed her residency in general surgery at Sound Shore Hospital in New Rochelle, N.Y.; Montefiore Hospital in Bronx, N.Y.; Lincoln Hospital in Bronx, N.Y.; and North Shore Hospital in Manhasset, N.Y. She completed her fellowship in trauma and critical care at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, N.J.; and in burn surgery at Jacobi Hospital in Bronx, N.Y.
She is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support, and she is a member of the American Medical Women’s Association, National Medical Association and Society of Gastroenterology Surgeons.
