Welcome, Peter Patitsas, MD, MBA
Penn Highlands Healthcare welcomes emergency medicine physician Peter Patitsas to its medical staff.
Dr. Patitsas joins the team at the Emergency Department at Penn Highlands Huntingdon, located at 1225 Warm Springs Avenue in Huntingdon.
Dr. Patitsas provides highly specialized care to patients with serious or life-threatening injuries or illnesses. He is experienced in treating all kinds of emergencies, and along with the rest of emergency care team at Penn Highlands, provides patients with immediate access to specialty care and state-of-the-art technology at the moment you need it most.
Common treatments and procedures include cardioversion, pacing, CPR, intubation, intraosseous line placement, eFAST, treatment of sepsis and treatment of congestive heart failure.
Prior to joining Penn Highlands, Dr. Patitsas practiced at Holy Spirit Medical Center at Penn State Health in Camp Hill.
Dr. Patitsas graduated from The Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Pennsylvania American College of Emergency Physicians.
