Robert R. Dahmus, MD, and William W. DeMuth, MD, FACS, are board-certified orthopedic surgeons and are accepting new patients at the Penn Highlands Huntingdon Orthopedic Care Center at 7651 Lake Raystown Shopping Center Drive in Huntingdon.

Dr. Dahmus and Dr. DeMuth each have more than 40 years of experience in providing patients with expert orthopedic care. Common treatments and procedures include fracture care, arthroscopy of joints including knee, shoulders and ankles, carpal tunnel surgery, rotator cuff repair, joint replacement surgery including hip, knee, and shoulder and ligament repairs.

The orthopedic team at Penn Highlands provides both non-surgical and surgical treatments, and our surgeons, therapists, and other team members use the latest techniques, medications, and capabilities to provide the best care available.

Dr. DeMuth and Dr. Dahmus have deep roots in the region and have spent their entire careers caring for patients in the central Pennsylvania region. Prior to joining Penn Highlands, DeMuth practiced at Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, Polyclinic Medical Center in Harrisburg, Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill, Grandview Surgery Center in Camp Hill, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Mechanicsburg, Seidle Memorial Hospital in Mechanicsburg, Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg and as associate chief of surgery at Elizabethtown Hospital and Rehabilitation Center of The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey.

Dr. Dahmus previously practiced at Polyclinic Medical Center in Harrisburg, Seidle Memorial Hospital in Mechanicsburg, Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg, Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg and Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill.

In addition, Dr. DeMuth and Dr. Dahmus both served as assistant clinical professors at The Pennsylvania State University, and both are graduates of The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center at The Pennsylvania State University.
