State Farm Donation to Tyrone Hospital

Kelly Wike, State Farm® agent in Tyrone, PA donated $500.00 to the Tyrone Hospital Foundation through the State Farm Companies Foundation Good Neighbor Grant Program.

Through the Good Neighbor Grant Program, State Farm provided each of its agents with a $500.00 grant to be donated in their local community for COVID-19. Mrs. Wike directed her donation to Tyrone Hospital. The donation was used to purchase a new chair for the hospital’s main lobby. The chair was part of a set of new furniture the hospital purchased for its lobby area. The new furniture, including the chair donated by Mrs. Wike and State Farm, is made of a material that can easily be sanitized and disinfected. This supports Tyrone Hospital’s ongoing mitigation efforts to prevent the spread of disease including COVID-19.

State Farm® and the State Farm Companies Foundation encourages its associates to be good neighbors by giving back to the communities where they live and work. One way this is achieved is through the Good Neighbor Grant Programs.
