Deeply Rooted in Our Rural Communities

At Penn Highlands DuBois Family Medicine Residency, community connection is at the heart of our program's training. Fully supported and encouraged by the Graduate Medical Education Office, our residents actively lead and participate in local wellness events, health fairs, and outreach programs.

Through our strong partnership with Penn Highlands DuBois and the Free Medical Clinic of DuBois , our residents serve as the primary care providers for the clinic's patient population. This unique collaboration allows them to integrate these patients directly into their continuity panels, giving them hands-on experience delivering compassionate, comprehensive care to underserved members of our community when they need it most.
