Penn Highlands Clearfield welcomes Emily Barger, board certified physician assistant, who sees patients alongside Dr. Moafu Fu, medical oncologist for Oncology Hematology Associates of Northern Pennsylvania, at the Nathaniel D. Yingling, MD, Cancer Center.

Barger’s primary role is to facilitate and assist Fu in the care, treatment and supervision of patients within the practice.

“I have found my job at the Yingling Cancer Center to be extremely rewarding thus far,” said Barger.  “Although treating friends and neighbors can be difficult, I feel comforted knowing they are in such good hands as they face this trying time.  There is a caring and cohesive team here that I am very proud to now be a part of.  I have found a level of care here that truly exceeds any standard.”

“It has been a great pleasure to welcome Emily to the Nathaniel D. Yingling, MD, Cancer Center,” said Fu.  “Her wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for our patients makes her a great asset to us all.  I am looking forward to working with her in the future as we continue to care for the patients of the Clearfield area.”

Barger earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Lycoming College in Williamsport.  She earned her master of physician assistant studies from Chatham University in Pittsburgh.
