Penn Highlands Healthcare Welcomes New Therapist

Penn Highlands Healthcare is excited to announce and welcome Physical Therapist, Lindsay Burke, DPT, to their rehabilitation location at State College.

Burke joins The Rehabilitation Center with 11 years of experience. She earned her degree at the Medical College of Virginia and her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University. Burke is also certified to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE). During her studies and experiences, she became passionate about helping others through Physical Therapy.

“I fell in love with the practical, informative nature of physical therapy in college after experiencing my own injury,” said Burke. “I have moved many times in my professional career as an Air Force military spouse and always love meeting and taking care of post-operative patients, from hip and knee replacements to rotator cuff repairs. I’ve also greatly enjoyed working in the industrial rehabilitation field, and look forward to permanently settling into State College and serving Central Pennsylvania.”
